Tim is an associate in the CMS Cyber Security Team, with extensive experience responding to cyber incidents in the UK, Australia and globally for almost a decade. Tim’s practice also includes coverage work across cyber, professional and financial lines.

Tim has advised numerous large, mid and SME companies on incident response management following a cyber incident, providing advice on legal and regulatory obligations, including extensive experience with large scale PII reviews.

A major international academic institution in their response to a significant ransomware attack that had brought large parts of its international IT infrastructure offline.
A multinational manufacturing company in complying with notification obligations across dozens of jurisdictions in relation to the 2023 MoveIT data breach.
A top-15 London accountancy firm following an incident affecting client and staff data during the COVID lockdowns.
A large UK recruitment company who provide staffing to sensitive defence and energy clients.
A domestic violence charity in relation to highly sensitive client data.
