Wayne is a Partner in the Manchester Real Estate Team.
He is recognised as one of the UK’s leading development constraints lawyers, with a particular focus on rights of light. With over 20+ years career, Wayne has played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of more than GBP 20bn of new developments, specialising in high-rise buildings within the PRS and PBSA sectors and the resolution of multiple constraints affecting large scale regenerations. He also has significant expertise in resolving joint venture disputes across public/private partnerships, with a particular emphasis on large-scale regeneration schemes.
Wayne has worked on some of the largest and most important regeneration schemes in the country, including delivery of the Olympic Park in readiness for the 2012 Olympic Games, specifically enforcement of the CPO for the 560 acre regeneration, and also in relation to an GBP 20M access dispute to lay fibre optic cables across the River Lea and into the World Media Centre.
