- China EXIM Bank on a secured financing for a subsidiary of CDB Leasing refinancing the acquisition of two Airbus A320 aircraft on lease to S7 Airline.
- OSX Brasil SA on its successful entry into corporate insolvency proceedings in Brazil. As part of our instructions in respect of the largest corporate insolvency in Latin American history, we advised on all aspects of the restructuring of OSX Brasil’s business, dealing with its government bank creditors, handling its key commercial contracts (including in respect of its shipyard) and advising on disputes and settlements arising as a result of its financial position and entry into insolvency.
- Excelerate Energy on its 10 year charter party agreement with Dubai Supply Authority, under which Excelerate will provide and operate a floating, storage and regasification unit located at the Dubai Supply Authority’s existing Jebel Ali LNG import terminal.
- Deutsche Bank, as English counsel, in relation to the USD1.8 bn senior secured term loan facility in respect of the refinancing of 4 drillships owned by Ocean Rig UDW Inc on charter in Brazil and West Africa.
- Bumi Armada Berhad, alongside its JV partner, Shapoorji Pallinji and Private Limited, on its USD202m refinancing of an FPSO vessel located in the D1 O&G field located 200km west of Mumbai.
- Engine Lease Finance Corporation on the successful acquisition of a portfolio of more than 40 leased aircraft engines from Macquarie in a competitive bid situation.
- GasLog Ltd. on a USD 1.3bn ECA-backed facilities agreement regarding the construction and delivery of 8 LNG carriers by a syndicate arranged by, inter alia, Citibank N.A, London Branch, Nordea Bank AB, London Branch, The Export-Import Bank of Korea, National Australia Bank Limited, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, Societe Generale and The Korea Development Bank.
- Erste Group Bank on numerous limited recourse secured financings (often including equity participation arrangements) with aircraft investors involving security over leased aircraft and aircraft equipment in countries including Panama, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, United States, China, Lithuania and Thailand among others.
