Highlights of our Experience in PRS in the UK

• The Wellcome Trust on the management of the South Kensington Estate, a large residential estate comprising thousands of residential tenancies. 
• GI Partners on the formation of its joint venture with Lomond Asset Management to acquire for investment purposes PRS assets in major metropolitan areas of the UK (primarily Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds). In particular, we needed to negotiate an appropriate split of management responsibilities between the two parties, with suitable incentives and remedies in the event of default or breach. In this case, the investing vehicle was established as a unit trust in Jersey, and we also therefore needed to advise on UK regulatory and tax issues.
