Microbiome

Research into the microbiome has exploded over the last 10 years as the an appreciation grows for the effect of the microbiome on health, and the progress and development of human diseases such as metabolic and inflammatory disorders, cancer and depression.  The microbiome also can impact the efficacy of existing drug treatments.  Patent filings are doubling every year in this space.  Members of our team have a personal and professional interest in this space, covering the human, animal and the plant/agribio sectors.  We have partners with PhDs in bacterial genetics and plant biochemistry. We current act for a large microbiome company using phage-based methods to modify biomes.  We attend industry events including the microbiome SIG and are members of the Microbiology Society.
