CMS has significant experience in patent drafting and prosecution of inventions relating to optics and optoelectronics, including team members with extensive industry experience (including R&D experience) in this field. Our experience includes passive and active optical and optoelectronic components (including lasers and laser diodes), bulk optics, fibre optics and planar waveguide technologies. We also have considerable experience of optical component packaging technologies. Our deep technical understanding enables us to minimize the burden on inventors when preparing patent applications and when prosecuting them before the UK or European Patent Office.
