Today I attended a workshop about "Shaping AI and data for people and society" at the Nuffield Foundation and Ada Lovelace Institute. There was an interesting discussion about whether an AI charter can be used to help regulate AI in the UK or whether other approaches will be more effective. It seems that the Ada Lovelace Institue will be a key player in any future regulation of AI in the UK and perhaps internationally.
