Text of Sarah Breeden’s speech of 17 April 2026 follows in which she discusses aspects of financial resilience.  She notes that BoE is responding through system-wide surveillance exercises, building ex-ante resilience in market-based finance (including gilt-repo reforms), and developing ex-post tools such as the Contingent NBFI Repo Facility.
