FCA: CP25/29: Changes to the UK Short Selling Regime – update

In the latest edition of the Primary Markets Bulletin, FCA has published a derivation and changes table which sets out how it proposes to transfer rules and guidance from the current short selling regime along with two presentations from a recent industry event on the reportable shares list and aggregated net short positions by issuer and anonymisation of position holders. Stakeholders are invited to send responses to the consultation and to the table by 16 December 2025.
