FCA: Enforcement action against money transfer firms

In November 2023, FCA fined three money transfer firms after they admitted to fixing prices charged to consumers in Glasgow.  Dollar East (International Travel & Money Transfer) Ltd; Hafiz Bros Travel & Money Transfer Limited and LCC Trans-Sending Limited (including its parent company, Small World Financial Services Group Limited t/a Small World,) were fined a combined total of over £150,000 for breaching competition law.    As promised in its November 2023 press release, FCA has now published a non-confidential version of its decision under the Competition Act 1998.
