Transatlantic Financial Regulatory Coherence Coalition (TFRC): issued a press release regarding TTIP and FS regulatory cooperation between EU and US

07 Jun 2016 (UPDATED: 13 Jul 2026) United Kingdom 1 min read

An international group of fourteen trade associations and business groups have joined to form the TFRC. The TFRC members form a large proportion of the transatlantic financial services community. In a press release issued today, the TFRC noted that they have "been brought together by a strong and shared belief on both sides of the Atlantic that improving regulatory cooperation between the U.S. and EU must be a priority". In TFRC's view "a comprehensive Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) that includes both market-opening measures and a framework for regulatory coherence in financial services is the best way of achieving this."
