Many payments in commercial transactions between businesses or between businesses and public authorities are made much later than agreed. This is very costly for businesses. That is why the EU adopted Directive 2011/7/EU. The Directive does not harmonise payment periods, but provides for a European framework. The EU Member States had to implement the EU Payment Directive by 16 March 2013.
The webinar will give you an overview about the main features of the EU Payment Directive. The webinar will also show you which EU Member States have implemented the EU Payment Directive by now and how the EU Payment Directive might affect the law in the EU Member States where it has not been implemented yet. Furthermore, the webinar will make you familiar with the main changes caused by the EU Payment Directive in certain selected European countries.
