BIS: Corporate governance in banks

Further to an October 2014 consultation, BIS has published revised guidance (last published in 2010) which: expands on the role of the board of directors in overseeing the implementation of risk management systems; emphasises the importance of the board's collective competence as well as inpiduals; strengthens guidance on the role of risk/audit committees and provides e guidance for bank supervisors in evaluating the processes used by banks in board and senior management selection.
