SkyCom, the leading telematics specialist in Luxembourg, has announced its merger with Danish counterpart r2pTracking ApS, one of the leading telematics solution providers for road vehicles in Denmark, to form a new entity called EcoMobility.
The merger brings together two leading telematics companies with a combined customer base of over 8,000 clients and a team of 35 employees. The leadership expressed optimism about the opportunities for synergies and product/service enhancements.
EcoMobility Group will be a provider of telematics and SaaS solutions that aims to enable companies to exploit their vehicles and resources in a more sustainable and cost-effective way.
CMS Luxembourg team advised the Stockholm based investment fund Alder, acting on the side of r2pTracking ApS, on all Luxembourg law aspects of the transaction.
