CMS Luxembourg has assisted Alkemya Luxembourg (Alkemya) on the structuring of a c. USD 800 million security token offering listed on the Bitfinex securities trading platform.
As part of the transaction, Alkemya will offer tokenised limited partner interests to third party investors through the Bitfinex exchange, with subscriptions expected to be made in USDT (Tether).
Alkemya is a firm specialising in the procurement and distribution of rare earth oxides, titanium and nickel wires, materials that are increasingly critical to the semiconductor, aerospace, defence and other high tech industries.
In addition to structuring advice, CMS provided comprehensive support on the transaction, including regulatory, corporate and tax advice.
