We advised South Korean investor Midas International Asset Management Ltd. on the acquisition and financing of the newly constructed Zalando e-fulfillment center in Bleiswijk from USAA Realco Europe and Somerset Capital Partners by means of a turnkey asset deal. The transaction value is EUR 215 million, the largest single asset logistics transaction to date in the Netherlands in terms of deal volume.
The property consists of 247,746 sq. m. of land with an e-fulfillment logistics center warehouse, office space and mezzanine space, loading docks and parking spaces.
Our team advised Midas on all legal aspects regarding the acquisition and financing of this building: property law, lease law, construction law, planning and zoning, corporate, insurance and tax. We also acted as the notary for the completion of the transaction.
