The Ordinance that regulates the working conditions of administrative employees not covered by specific collective agreements has been amended, as published today in Diário da República, increasing the minimum remunerations provided for at all levels of the salary table by 7.89%.

This will result in an increase in the amounts to which employees to whom the Ordinance is applicable are entitled in terms of cashier allowance and seniority payments, in line with the increase established for the minimum salaries on the salary table:

  • Cashier allowance per month - EUR 41,7;
  • Seniority payments per month – EUR 25,53.

Notwithstanding the fact that the changes provided for in the Ordinance will come into force on April 7th 2024, the minimum remunerations will take effect from March 1st 2024.
