ORDINANCE NO. 421/2023 - Update of the Social Support Index amount (IAS) - 2024
It was published, December 11, 2023, the Ministerial Order no. 421/2023 that updates the amount of the Social Support Index (IAS) for the year 2024.
The amount, which is currently EUR 480,43 (four hundred eighty euros and forty-three cents), will, with effects from January 1, 2024, be EUR 509,26 (five hundred nine euros and twenty-six cents), which corresponds to an increase of 6%.
This increase will be reflected, namely, in the payment of social benefits such as unemployment allowance, as well as in the calculation of monthly contributions of non-remunerated and non-exempt statutory bodies or of domestic service under the conventional regime, among other situations.
