Leipzig / Frankfurt/Main – Bridgepoint's London-based portfolio company Qualitest has acquired Telexiom, a leading IT consulting specialist based in Cologne. The acquisition gives Qualitest a strong base in Germany, which at nearly EUR 41 billion, is Europe’s largest and fastest-growing IT market. Merger control approval in Germany has already been granted.
A CMS team headed by Dr Joerg Lips and Dr Christoph Loeffler advised Qualitest on all legal aspects of the deal.
Qualitest is the world's largest, independent managed services provider of quality assurance and testing solutions and internationally represented with almost 3,000 employees in 14 offices in the US, UK, Israel, Romania and India. Qualitest is majority-owned by international private equity group Bridgepoint, which acquired the company in October 2019.
Founded in 2008, Telexiom offers a wide range of professional IT consulting services and solutions with key competences in the areas of quality engineering, IT security, software development, and project management.
Bridgepoint is an international private equity firm with decades of experience and focus on the Middle Market. Bridgepoint has made 114 private equity investments in the last 10 years and currently manages assets of approximately EUR 27 billion.
