CMS advises EuroEyes on acquisition financing for the purchase of FYEO

Frankfurt am Main – EuroEyes International Eye Clinic Ltd. (EuroEyes) has acquired the Dutch eye clinic group FYEO Europe B.V. (FYEO), a leading provider of refractive surgery in the Netherlands, and its subsidiaries.

An international CMS team under the leadership of Dr André Frischemeier provided EuroEyes with advice on all the legal aspects of structuring and implementing the acquisition financing. The cross-border financing involved Germany and the Netherlands and received support from an integrated CMS Finance team in accordance with German and Dutch law.

EuroEyes was founded in Hamburg in 1993 and is a global group of clinics specialising in refractive eye and lens surgery. The company offers treatments including for defective vision, presbyopia and cataracts and operates clinics and treatment centres in several European countries as well as in China.
