Stuttgart – FIELDS Group, a private equity firm operating in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) and the Benelux countries, has acquired a majority interest in the amasol Group with effect from 28 February 2023. Munich-based amasol, which also has offices in Vienna and Delhi, is a leading IT managed service provider in the DACH region. The aim of the partnership is to drive forward the ongoing international expansion of the amasol Group. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
A CMS team headed by Dr Tobias Schneider advised FIELDS Group on all legal aspects of the transaction. This is the first time CMS has advised FIELDS Group, which has its headquarters in the Netherlands.
