Frankfurt/Main, 09.12.2024 – GPW Group GmbH, a leading international specialist pharmaceutical distributor based in Saarbrücken, has acquired Dutch-German pharmaceutical wholesaler Orly Pharma. The transaction was supported by GPW’s majority shareholder, Silver Investment Partners.
An international CMS team headed by lead partners Dr Peter Polke and Elmer Veenman provided the GPW Group with comprehensive legal advice. The GPW Group and Silver Investment Partners have relied on the expertise of teams headed by CMS partner Polke for many years.
The GPW Group trades internationally in medicines that are temporarily unavailable or not licensed in the importing country and which may only be imported if certain conditions are met. The acquisition of Orly Pharma will see the GPW Group expanding its offering in the Benelux region and enable it to leverage synergies with other group companies.
