Stuttgart – Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (Porsche) is strategically realigning its activities outside its core automotive business and, as part of this process, has initiated comprehensive restructuring measures at several of its subsidiaries. The subsidiaries affected are Porsche eBike Performance GmbH, Cetitec GmbH and Cellforce Group GmbH, which together employ more than 500 people.

This realignment is part of the group's strategic decision to focus more closely on its core business in future and to restructure or, in some cases, discontinue existing activities in selected technology and development areas. The Porsche eBike Performance GmbH sites in Ottobrunn and Zagreb, as well as the Cetitec GmbH sites in Pforzheim and Croatia, are to be closed as part of this process. The Cellforce Group GmbH site in Kirchentellinsfurt is also affected; following the discontinuation of high-performance battery cell production last year, operations there are now set to be completely shut down.

An international CMS team led by Dr Oliver Simon is providing comprehensive support to Porsche and the affected subsidiaries in the preparation and implementation of the labour law restructuring measures.
