Leipzig – Boston-based international US technology company PTC Inc. has acquired pure-systems GmbH, a leading provider of product and software variant management solutions.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Jörg Lips provided the sellers with comprehensive legal advice. In addition to the three founders, Berlin-based venture capital investor bmp Ventures AG also held a stake in pure-systems GmbH via the IBG funds it manages.
With its pure::variants software solution, pure-systems has become a world market leader and hidden champion for product line engineering (PLE) in recent years. From its headquarters in Magdeburg, the company serves global corporations and mid-sized companies that use the pure::variants holistic PLE solution for product line engineering.
