Berlin – Bavarian travel agency Raiffeisen-Tours RT-Reisen GmbH has acquired the Holiday Land franchise system and brand from the insolvency administrators of Thomas Cook Touristik GmbH and Thomas Cook GmbH.
A multi-location CMS team headed by partners Dr Eva Annett Grigoleit and Dr Igor Stenzel (M&A), Joachim Kühne (Insolvency), Peter Endres (Franchise) and Dr Ole Jani (Trademark Law) provided Raiffeisen-Tours RT-Reisen with comprehensive legal advice.
Raiffeisen-Tours RT-Reisen GmbH is part of RT-Raiffeisen Touristik Group GmbH, which is headquartered in Burghausen, Upper Bavaria. The group describes itself as the largest travel agency alliance in Germany, with more than 3,500 affiliated agencies.
The franchise alliance around the Holiday Land brand was established 25 years ago and currently comprises some 360 member agencies.
