Leipzig – Energiekonzepte Mitteldeutschland GmbH (EKM GmbH) of Leipzig, a full-service provider of solar power generation and storage systems, has been acquired by Auctus Capital Partners AG and associated funds as the new majority shareholder.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Jörg Lips advised the existing sole shareholder of EKM GmbH on all legal aspects of the deal.
Leipzig-based Energiekonzepte Mitteldeutschland GmbH is a premium full-service provider of integrated energy concepts consisting of PV systems, electricity storage facilities and related energy services.
Auctus Capital Partners AG is an independent private equity firm established in 2001 with its head office in Munich. According to the company’s own figures, it employs 23 people and has more than EUR 500 million under management. Since it was formed, the firm has acquired more than 250 majority stakes across its five core sectors of IT, health, business services, consumer, and industry.
