Dusseldorf, 14.10.2024 – The listed company Westag AG is strengthening its specialty doors division in line with its strategy by acquiring Reinaerdt Türen GmbH, based in Saterland. Westag AG manufactures high-quality engineered wood products for building construction and interior design. Reinaerdt Türen GmbH manufactures functional and specialty doors. The takeover strengthens Westag AG's market position and expands its product range. In addition, synergy effects will be realized through joint sales activities.
A team led by lead partner Dr. Dirk Jannott and counsel Katharina Franitza provided comprehensive legal support for the takeover. Westag AG has been relying on CMS' advice for years. The parties have agreed not to disclose further details of the deal.
