Lisa Dietrich advises SMEs and corporate groups in Germany and abroad on defending and enforcing their intellectual property rights. One area she specialises in is fighting against product piracy and illegal parallel imports. Her activities range from developing strategies and advising on border seizure applications to handling customs law, civil law and criminal law issues when goods are seized.

Lisa provides sector-specific advice, particularly in Life Sciences & Healthcare. Here she contributes her expertise in pharmaceutical and medicinal products law and regularly advises clients on technology-driven M&A transactions, in particular companies in the medical devices industry. She also drafts contracts relating to intellectual property, industrial property rights and know-how, in particular research and development contracts and licence agreements. She also specialises in patent law and in protecting trade secrets.

Lisa joined CMS as a lawyer in 2022, having previously worked at CMS as a research assistant since 2021.
