A secondment abroad with a major automotive supplier in Paris has further strengthened his international focus.
Artur Baron: "Thanks to our international network and close cooperation across locations and practice areas, we at CMS are ideally positioned to take on complex national and cross-border restructuring projects. As a partner I intend to help CMS remain a leader in this strategically important field and continue to grow."

Thorsten Hemme: "CMS has consistently improved its outstanding position in IT law in recent years and sets the benchmark in advising technology-driven companies. I look forward to helping carve out this path as a partner and to supporting clients in a forward-looking and practical manner, particularly with regard to the rapidly growing market for AI applications."

Dr Alexander Hoffmann: "Market participants in insurance law are being confronted with increasingly complicated regulations, complex insurance products and numerous claims. In this context, we have been advising our clients at the highest level for years and have managed to expand our presence in the market continuously at both national and international level. I look forward to contributing to this development as a CMS partner from January 2026."

I provide risk-focused and solution-focused support for transactions. The dynamic developments surrounding AI are causing noticeable changes in the M&A sector – and from January 2026 I intend to actively help devise responses to the resulting challenges and opportunities for my clients as a partner."
