CMS successfully advises on the acquisition of offshore wind farm "Merkur"
Hamburg – A team from CMS Germany led by lead partner Dr. Holger Kraft has advised structures and companies, respectively held and managed by Partners Group (headquartered in Switzerland) and InfraRed Capital Partners (based in the United Kingdom) on the acquisition of the majority of shares in the company owning the project rights for offshore wind farm "Merkur" as well as the financing process which took place in parallel. The offshore wind farm will be built in the German exclusive economic zone in the North Sea, approximately 45 kilometres north of the island of Borkum and will cover an area of some 46 square kilometres after completion.
