Stuttgart – IMS Verwaltungs GmbH, a company owned by the Zlatkovic family, has successfully built up an integrated group of companies operating in the field of trenchless pipe and sewer rehabilitation as part of a partnership with the private equity investor Apheon and other investors. This platform combines several specialist companies, including Hurricane Trenchless Technologie, Amex Sanivar, Innoquip, Kardiam, Polypipe, resinnovation and IMS itself. The association pursues a clear buy-and-build strategy and permanently strengthens the competitiveness of the newly formed group of companies and the entire industry's innovative power.
A CMS team led by Dr Tobias Schneider provided IMS Verwaltungs GmbH and the Zlatkovic family behind it with advice covering multiple countries on structuring and designing the partnership with Apheon, including comprehensive assistance for the re-investment, in particular on the drafting of contracts, legal due diligence, cross-border coordination and the implementation of governance and financing structures. The advice spanned several jurisdictions with significant involvement from the CMS teams from France, Italy, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and in cooperation with the Danish partner office Bech-Bruun as well as the Australian law firm HWLE Lawyers.
