Katja Küpper advises on all legal matters related to private construction projects as well as architects and engineers, with ample experience in providing advisory and legal management services during construction. She also advises public bodies on public procurement law matters in the context of planning and building contracts or public-private partnerships and is experienced with negotiating multi-party contracts. Katja regularly represents her clients in court.
Katja started her professional career working for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, before joining first a medium-sized law firm in 2007 and later on a real estate boutique. She joined CMS in 2012 and has been a counsel since January 2017, in January 2025, she has been promoted to principal counsel. She is also co-author of "Vertragsbuch Privates Baurecht" (handbook for private construction contracts) by Roquette/Schweiger (3rd ed. 2020).
