Mathias Cordero advises German and international companies on energy law and focuses on project developments in the field of renewable energies. He mainly advises on the drafting and negotiation of long-term power purchase agreements as well as EPC and other project agreements. Mathias has also gained experience with M&A transactions in the energy sector and regulatory issues.
Mathias joined CMS in 2023. He was previously in the diplomatic service, working in the legal section of the German Foreign Office. In 2019, he started his legal career as a lawyer with a focus on the energy sector with an international law firm in Berlin.
