Niclas Minderjahn advises and represents German companies and international companies. Having completed his initial training in employment law in our Labor, Employment & Pensions practice area, he has been representing these clients in complex commercial disputes before German state courts for several years. His current focus is on providing strategic advice to clients in the automotive and mobility and energy sectors – in particular in dealing with mass litigation in product liability and contract law.
He completed his doctorate on a topic involving labour law and corporate law, and also has relevant professional experience in individual and collective labour law issues as well as HR compliance issues, for example in the area of bogus self-employment.
Niclas has extensive experience managing large-scale portfolios of legal proceedings. He is also well versed in developing efficient, technology-driven process structures for managing complex legal projects. He plays an active role in developing AI-based solutions and in the practice area's internal AI team.
Niclas successfully completed the Executive Programme "Shaping the ESG Future of Business" at the University of St. Gallen in 2025 and regularly publishes on labour law, compliance, sustainability and ESG topics.
Niclas joined CMS in 2021.
