By popular demand, following our Employment Basics series at the start of the year, our CMS Employment team now brings you a series which delves deeper into topical employment law issues facing the Construction sector.

Please join us for a three part webinar series this Autumn, where we will talk you through three topics which are crucial “building blocks” for those working in HR or employment law in your industry.

Series details:

20 September 2022                 TUPE - A Deeper Dive
09:30 - 10:15

Join our speakers Eileen MacMahon and Emma Sweetman as we discuss the trickier TUPE clauses that appear in commercial contracts in your sector.  We’ll address the purpose of these clauses, give you some tips and discuss strategic considerations when reviewing them.

27 September 2022                 Modern Slavery
09:30 - 10:15

Ensuring your supply chain is modern slavery free is a key risk issue. During this session, Sarah Ozanne and Niamh Morrison will guide you through the main legal requirements on publishing a modern slavery statement, highlight supply chain due diligence considerations and take a look at government proposals for tightening the law in this area and what that means for your industry.

04 October 2022                       ESG
09:30 - 10:15

In this session we will explore what ESG means from a people perspective. Our hosts Catriona Aldridge and Charlotte Eccles will discuss how to align employees to your green strategy and the risks and challenges arising from this, what implementing the Social aspects of ESG entails and why it is important, along with how to implement “E” criteria and where the “G” fits in.
