The sun is starting to make an appearance and spring is in the air, which means it is time for our Spring Future of Renewables sessions in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

With speakers from CMS, Locogen, InfaRed Capital and Nadara we will be looking as always at current hot topics affecting Energy projects across Scotland, with a focus on onshore wind including repowering; transport issues and opportunities with the ongoing Grid Reform; as well as looking at investment in renewables and how to manage your project when it comes to contractor insolvency.

There will also be the opportunity for networking following each session.

The sessions will be chaired by Susie Lind, Partner CMS and will cover:

  • Ian McLean, Locogen - Onshore wind – finding opportunities in Scotland amid gate 2 outcomes and capacity targets
  • Alastair Campbell, InfaRed Capital - Renewables back on the up? – an Investor view
  • Fin Becks, Phelps, Nadara – A second wind – unleashing the potential of repowering
  • Laura West/Caroline McIver, CMS - Weathering the storm – keeping your project on track in the event of contractor insolvency
  • Claire Wallis, CMS - Smoothing the route for super turbines – a look at wind turbine transport in Scotland
