At a time when employers are increasingly reliant on global talent to fill skills gaps, the immigration rules continue to change. In this Law-Now we discuss important developments in business immigration affecting employers, including the introduction of eVisas, the upcoming implementation of an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system for international visitors and what it means for business travel. We also address the current delays in visa application processing due to a shortage of appointments and explain what we know about the new government’s approach to business immigration.
