In these webinars, recorded by Olswang LLP on 12 January 2017 and 6 February 2017, we look at the new gender pay gap reporting obligations. The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 came into force on 6 April 2017. Employers caught by the requirements will have to make their first report by 4 April 2018 on relevant pay information in the applicable period leading up to and including the first "snapshot date" of 5 April 2017.
The first webinar looks at what you need to be considering in relation to the gender pay gap reporting obligations including:
- what are the key definitions for the purposes of the Regulations?
- what pay information are you required to publish?
- what steps do you need to take to calculate the information?
- what risks are attached to the process of gathering the relevant information and what can be done to reduce these?
- what, if any, remedial action could you take now?
