International law firm CMS has advised longstanding client AnaCap Financial Partners (“AnaCap”), a leading private equity firm specialising in European Financial, Technology, and related Business Services, on its investment in Further Underwriting International (“Further”), a digitally enabled specialist in the design and development of niche health insurance products and service solutions.

With this investment in Further, AnaCap builds on its successful track record of investing in technology-enabled insurance businesses. Madrid-headquartered Further will continue its global growth strategy of expanding into new jurisdictions, as well as launching new product categories and pursuing new business opportunities.

The CMS team was led by Dipesh Santilale (Corporate), with support from Stephen Kilshaw, Anna Spichenko and Amrit Duhra (Corporate); Paul Edmondson and Sarah Brook (Regulatory); Tom Hughes (Banking); Jaime Bofill, Luis Miguel de Dios, Irene Miró, Marta González, Andrea Campos and Luis Espejo (CMS Madrid); Ulrike Gluck and Aiping Bao (CMS Shanghai); and Ronan Shanahan and Marie McQuail (William Fry, Dublin).
