CMS advises Bayern Kapital on $22m funding round in LUMA Vision

International law firm CMS has advised Bayern Kapital on its investment in medical device company LUMA Vision. The Series A3 financing round was led by existing investors EQT Lifesciences, ABV Uni Fund and imec.xpand, with an undisclosed multinational strategic investor and Atlantic Bridge Growth Fund.

LUMA Vision is a privately held, venture-backed company based in Dublin, Ireland and Munich, Germany. The company designs and develops an innovative 4D imaging and navigation end-to-end platform for cardiac applications to deliver data at the point of therapy.

Bayern Kapital is a venture capital company that provides financing for innovative, technology-oriented start-ups and companies in Bavaria. They offer customized financing concepts, seed funds, cluster funds, innovation funds, and growth funds.

The CMS Venture Capital team was led by Tom Jameson (Corporate).
