International law firm CMS has advised Cavalry Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm in Berlin, Germany on its investment in Enzai, a Belfast-based startup providing AI governance software.
The USD 4 million seed funding round in Enzai was led by Cavalry Ventures with Seedcamp and existing pre seed investor, Techstart Ventures, also participating along with several leading angel investors.
Founded in 2016, Cavalry Ventures backs bold entrepreneurs in building a better future through technology. Cavalry is a first check investor and initially invests in European pre-seed or seed-stage technology companies, across the enterprise as well as consumer spaces.
Enzai’s AI governance software platform provides organisations with a comprehensive toolkit to manage and comply with AI-related risks and regulations, ensuring the responsible development, deployment and usage of AI.
