CMS advises Cavalry on Series A funding round investment in Nory

23 May 2024

International law firm CMS has advised Cavalry Ventures (Cavalry) on its Series A investment in Nory, the Dublin-based AI-powered hospitality technology start-up, having previously advised it on its earlier seed investment in Nory. The $16m Seed A funding round was led by Accel, with existing investors also participating, including Anamcara, CircleRock Capital, Playfair, Samaipata and Triple Point.

Nory has developed an operating system designed to help hospitality brands build successful and sustainable businesses, combining various tools to enhance operations and boost profitability.

Founded in 2016 by a group of seasoned entrepreneurs and investors, Cavalry is an early-stage venture capital firm in Berlin, Germany, that backs bold entrepreneurs in building a better future through technology.

The CMS Venture Capital team was led by Tom Jameson (Corporate). This is the latest investment the team has advised Cavalry on, having worked on its investment in Companion.energy earlier this month and Enzai last year.
