Our corporate financial services and private equity teams have delivered a number of high-profile transactions over the last year and having Emma and Ed on board will greatly enhance our ability to service these transactions. Financial services and private equity are two key growth areas for the firm and will play an important role in the future of the practice.”

With her focus on financial services M&A, strategic transformational change and complex carve out transactions both in the UK and internationally, we believe there are many opportunities for her to develop her practice together with our corporate and regulatory specialists. His appointment is testament to the excellent work that we have been undertaking for our clients over the last twelve months and provides further evidence of our commitment to grow our practice and provide additional expertise as we embark on a very exciting 2022.”

Emma comments: “I am delighted to be joining the well-regarded financial services M&A team at CMS, which offers a leading platform with the breadth and expertise of its regulatory team. I am looking forward to continuing to build my practice and excited about the ambitions and culture of the team.”

Joining CMS provides a tremendous and very exciting opportunity to develop my practice and help solidify CMS’s position as a leading market player.”
