CMS is pleased to announce the appointment of George Metcalfe as a partner in the firm’s Funds practice, based in London. George joins from Freeths where he was also a partner.
George has over 12 years’ experience acting on a wide range of investment fund related matters. He advises fund managers on establishing new investment funds, co-investments, funds of one and managed accounts, co-GP and other bespoke investment structures, and investment management issues. George also has extensive experience of establishing carried interest, sponsor-co-invest and executive incentive arrangements.
In addition to acting for managers, George advises institutions on investments in private funds, co-investment vehicles and bespoke management arrangements with investment managers. During his career George has worked in London and Hong Kong at leading international law firms.
