CMS named Law Firm of the Year at the Energy Storage Investment Awards 2025
CMS is delighted to announce that the firm has taken home two prestigious accolades at the Energy Storage Investment Awards 2025, which recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in energy storage development, investment and finance in the renewable sector.
CMS has been named Law Firm of the Year, recognising the firm’s leading work in the battery energy storage sector (BESS), and Louise Dalton, CMS Energy & Climate Change Partner, has been named Lawyer of the Year, reflecting her “outstanding contribution to the energy storage sector”.
Commenting on CMS’ submission, the Energy Storage Investment Awards judges said: “CMS demonstrates the broadest leadership in BESS law, combining mega-projects with industry standard-setting contracts and thought leadership. CMS have been at the forefront of the energy storage market for a number of years and have helped shape the market.”
