CMS has received the coveted “TMT Legal Adviser of the Year” award at the 2019 TMT Finance M&A Awards, held in London.
The TMT Finance M&A Awards celebrate and recognise the leading industry M&A dealmakers, investors and advisory businesses transforming the TMT industry. The Awards are based on nominations from the global TMT Finance network, with final shortlists then put before an independent judging panel of 20 key deal advisers and industry experts.
CMS’ TMT team was recognised for its work on a string of high-profile and cross-jurisdictional deals, including advising Liberty Global on the €18.4bn acquisition of its European assets by Vodafone and the subsequent sale of its CEE direct-to-home satellite TV operations.
This is a significant achievement for CMS and a testament to the standout work being undertaken for clients across the firm’s TMT and Finance practices.
