CMS strengthens Energy & Infrastructure practice with partner appointment in London
CMS is delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Kaufman as a Partner in its Energy & Infrastructure team, based in London. Daniel joins to further strengthen CMS’s position at the forefront of the rapidly evolving energy transition and transport sectors.
Daniel is a highly regarded expert in future mobility and electric vehicles (EV), bringing a wealth of experience from senior in-house roles at leading international businesses focused on e-mobility, fleet electrification and EV charging. Earlier in his career, Daniel spent over a decade in private practice at a global law firm, advising on major energy and infrastructure projects across Europe, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Daniel advises leading investors, energy utilities, automotive OEMs, fleet operators and EV charging networks on complex, high‑value transactions, projects and regulation across the future mobility ecosystem. His practice is uniquely positioned at the intersection of energy, transport, technology, and infrastructure, with deep sector expertise in electrification of transport, alternative fuels, autonomous transport, and large-scale energy and infrastructure project development.
