Munir Hassan ranked in Legal Power List 2022

CMS partner Munir Hassan has been named as one of the most influential people in the wind energy industry. 

A Word About Wind’s Legal Power List ranks the top 100 lawyers that exert the most influence on the wind industry globally, through the deals they work on and the advice they provide. This includes lawyers at partner or departmental head level, as well as in-house general counsels and heads of legal. 

Munir has been recognised for his role advising Equinor on its agreement with BP to sell 50% of its non-operated interests in the Empire Wind and Beacon Wind assets on the US east coast for $1.1 billion.

Similarly, as the sector matures and matters become more sophisticated, we can expect leading wind sector companies to make moves to bolster their in-house expertise, and it’s likely we’ll see more private practice lawyers being lured into in-house roles”, he added.
