Alex is an Associate in the Financial Services Disputes team.

Alex advises banks, financial institutions (including cryptocurrency exchanges), corporates and UHNW individuals on a range of high-value and complex commercial disputes. Alex also advises his clients on judgment / debt enforcement, as well as corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy proceedings.

Alex is familiar with civil procedure in relation to each case track. Alex is also well-versed in settlement strategy and alternative dispute resolution.

Relevant experience

Defence of a GBP 300m claim in the High Court (Commercial Court) and obtaining of indemnity costs orders against the Claimant and co-Defendant.
Enforcement of a multi-million pound arbitration award.
Obtained an injunction to prevent the presentation of a Winding-Up Petition against a corporate client.
