Andrew is a partner and Co-head of our Real Estate acting for owners including institutions, pension funds, property funds and local authorities on all aspects of acquisition, disposal and management of their property portfolios. Andrew also acts for numerous occupiers in the retail office and leisure sectors with a focus on US corporates. Andrew also represents developers in the office, residential and student accommodation sectors.

  • A multinational technology retailer in the UK – advising for over 15 years on their expansion into the UK on all retail stores. Acting on the acquisition of their offices in the UK.
  • Alternative Developments – adjoining on the site assembling development, financing letting and disposal of various mixed use schemes including a campus site for an American University.
  • Babcock & Brown – acting for Babcock & Brown on various portfolios acquisitions including those in a joint venture with the Ashbourne Fund. Advising on-site assembly for a 500,000 square feet office building in the city. Acting on the acquisition and disposal of various occupational buildings.
  • BBC Pension Trust – advising the BBC generally on their investment portfolio for over 20 years including acquisitions and disposals development projects and management work. Recent instructions have included acquiring investment buildings in London and Newcastle.
  • Deloitte & Touche – advising Deloitte & Touche on all aspects of their occupational portfolio for over 20 years. Recent work has included taking pre-lets of buildings in Milton Keynes and Manchester and new offices in Cardiff and Newcastle.
  • Clearbell – advising Mountgrange on acquisitions and disposal work including the sale of significant London office assets, office parks, retail investments (including the joint venture with Patron Capital to acquire the Henderson Mercury Portfolio for £180m).
  • OUEM – advising on the acquisition of investment assets.
  • Towry Law – acting for Towry Law for over 20 years generally on their occupational portfolio including acquisition of new offices and the rationalisation of their premises following the take over of Edward Jones.
  • Titan Developments – advising generally on the acquisition of numerous development sites.
  • University of Oxford – advice to the University on both its occupational premises and investment portfolio. Recent work has included taking a pre-let on Eagle House, a recently developed office building, acting on the executive education property swap (including an Oxford College, an investment building and an accommodation block).
  • Wholefoods Market – advising Wholefoods on the acquisition of their European flagship store in Kensington High Street and generally on the portfolio of stores.
  • Melford - acting for Melford on the acquisition and disposal of various development sites.
